Growing Your Sales

Looking to expand your business and grow your sales?  Then there are some key factors you need to consider. 1. Diversify

The first thing to consider is diversifying your revenue streams and obtain sales through multiple channels.  Glass, paint, tires, etc. are all areas you can expand your business and create new revenue streams. This increases the level of value and service you are offering your customers and helps you bring sales through new channels.

2. Expand

When looking at your financials, be sure that you are not relying on one or two customers to bring in majority of your sales.  If you are on pace this year to finish strong, that’s great but can you replicate or grow your sales next year? Ensure that a single customer is not more than 20% of your total sales.  If this is your current situation then you need to look at attracting more customers and diversifying your revenue stream.

3.Create a Value Proposition Statement

Understand your customer and what value you add by creating a value proposition statement.  Once you are able to put in words what value you bring to your customer, you are able to better attract and serve them.  Consider what makes your business unique and why a customer should choose to entrust their vehicle with you.

4. Market your Business

If you aren’t already doing so, it’s time to start marketing yourself to attract customers.  Your customers are out their and your business is in place to fulfill a need they have. They don’t know that you exist or that you can help, if you don’t put yourself out there.  Marketing your business is essential to growing your sales and expanding your customer base.
