Simplicity Car Care Announces Jose Costa As New Board Member

Simplicity Car Care is proud to announce the addition of Jose Costa to the Simplicity Board. Costa joined the Simplicity team as a Board member in April 2022 and has already brought his wealth of knowledge and experience to the Simplicity team.  

Costa currently serves as the Chief Growth Officer of Bojangles, a restaurant brand with close to 800 locations across the United States. Previously, he has served as the CEO of GrandVision North America, which is an optical retail global leader with over 7,000 stores across the globe. Additionally, Costa has acted as the Group President of Driven Brand and has a long track record of successfully creating corporate value and leading large, multi-unit retail organizations. Costa has increased organizational performance in the automotive industry through identifying new opportunities for growth, developing integrated strategies, and delivering impeccable execution.

Costa couldn’t be more excited about joining the Simplicity Board, explaining, “I’m thrilled to join the team at Simplicity and work together with the Board to formulate exponential growth and success in the company. With Simplicity expanding so quickly, I know that my experience in the automotive industry and multi-unit growth will be beneficial to continue to lead Simplicity to becoming a top player in the automotive sector across Canada.”

With his management experience from working in the automotive industry, Costa brings innovative thinking and extensive expertise to the Simplicity Board. He has been awarded Executive of the Year on multiple occasions and has been named as one of the 40 Under 40. Additionally, his skillset in integrated marketing, strategy, and marketing strategy provides him with a unique ability to help further the Simplicity Car Care mission.
