I am writing this to warn others to stay away from this service. This person is not doing what he is supposed to do and is completely failing to meet basic professional standards. The work is not being handled correctly, and it is a total waste of time and resources. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else where the person actually respects their job and their clients

This is going to be a long review!
So where do I start? It starts with me clipping the back end of my new Toyota Corolla LE, when I turned the corner of the wall into the underground garage. I never did that with the old car, just the brand new one.
I got a first estimate from my Salespersons body shop, and since my Salesperson had recommended him, I thought I'd just go with it. Then I thought to myself maybe I should get a second estimate. So I did my AI research and it came up with Simplicity Car Care Thornhill. I called and made an appointment and brought my car down to the shop, and got an estimate. I then said to the person at the front desk that I'll think about it. So I went back to my car and slowly exited towards the road, then all of a sudden I went over this long and two inch high barrier that tries to prevent cars from going down a three foot hilly slope. I never saw it! So my left back tire was up in the air, the right side was on a slant. It was crazy!!! I couldn't move my car!! I went back into the office and said that I'm cursed! I was very emotional! Here's this brand new car that I just bought and I'm literally ruining it! Kirk the owner of the shoppe said that I was very lucky that I wasn't going faster or my car would have flipped over, with me inside!! Yes I was very lucky for sure!!!!
So as I mentioned I went back into the shoppe and I called Toyota Road Side Assist. I was the 11th caller in the que. Then I remembered that I was a CAA member, I called CAA and was put into an AI call answer mode that asked me my name. I said my name and it kept getting my last name wrong! So I just hung up out of frustration! Then Captain Kirk not the same as Star Trek came to the rescue and assembled the team to help me!! After seeing what Kirk did for me, I realized that I wanted to give them my business and fix my car!
Today I picked it up and the mechanic did a great job with the paint as well as the bottom of the car!! As the bottom was scratched up in different places. As well as the wheels being out of alignment.
Yes the car looked new again like nothing happened! The paint was blended beautifully and the rust proofing on the bottom of the car, was done very well! Both the paint, and bottom had a life time warranty!
Yes, there was some anxiety in regards to the job that the shoppe would do, but all n all I was very impressed with the job they did!! Oh yes there was some damage on the inside of the door that I wasn't aware of, and they did a great job on it!
All I can say is that Kirk and the whole team did a great body repair on my car!!

I did go to this place and had a mirror problem which was so obvious and it needed to be replaced. but they charged me 65 dollars just for diagnosing the problem and told me that the mirror needs to be replaced which l was told them from the start. Then, they charged me again for 129.99 for replacing the mirror which I think it was kind of ripping me off.

On November 12, I brought my 2019 Jetta to this shop because the car displayed the error message “Do not leave vehicle unless in P. Service vehicle.” The experience was unacceptable from the moment I arrived.
The front-desk receptionist, a brown male with no apparent automotive knowledge (he did not even know what ESC (Electronic Stability Control) was), showed zero interest in helping despite the shop being empty, and was unable to answer basic questions. His communication with the mechanics was equally poor. At one point, a mechanic even said, “How do you expect me to finish seven hours of work in four?”, which made it clear the receptionist wasn’t managing anything properly.
The main issue is that I was charged for a checkup and an oil change. I was told the error message appeared because the car needed servicing, and they pushed add-ons like engine and cabin air filter replacements. This was blatantly false. I had already completed an oil change one month earlier, on October 18, at Eurolize Auto Boutique (85 Glen Cameron Rd, Thornhill, ON L3T 1N8).
To confirm, I later had my car inspected at Volkswagen Villa on November 29, where I was told the error message was simply due to low battery voltage and that I just needed to drive more, with nothing to do with oil or filters.
This is disgraceful and predatory business conduct.

I had a great experience with Simplicity after my car got a small dent on the left rear bumper from a minor collision. The whole process was super easy and stress-free.
My insurance covered the repairs, so I didn’t have to deal with the estimate directly, but Simplicity still kept me in the loop and made sure I knew what was going on.
The repair was completed quicker than I expected, and when I picked up the car, I was honestly impressed — the bumper looked perfect, like nothing had ever happened.
Highly recommend Simplicity if you ever need body work done — they made a frustrating situation so much easier to deal with. Big thanks to the team!

I have to say that I am consistently satisfied with the quality of work and level of courtesy I recieve here with my vehicles. I came over to Simplicity with Louis and his crew and despite the extra drive time it's well worth it. I am able to book time slots that allow me to wait for my car in a comfortable waiting area. Eileen and Kirk attentive as well as the rest of the staff here. No need to go anywhere else which is evident from the comments of other customers. I continue to be very happy with the level of service and the turnaround time for having my vehicles worked on

The best. The information they provide you with is detailed and they explain everything . Louie is the best mechanic in the GTA and their pricing is very reasonable . Most importantly 100 percent honest. My civic is at almost 350,000 km and still going strong .

I followed Simplicity Car Care from Sheppard to Thornhill because despite the distance I knew I'd get everything done right. I am moving the car to BC and Simplicity told me what they thought I'd have to do even knowing the work would be done in BC. Good people to work with.

STAY AWAY. I came here to have my car fixed because they used to be Strong Automativ. Now it has merged with a poorly run Chinese outfit auto collision centre that is unprofessional, incompetent, and does not
answer their phone calls. They are nothing like the old place. They lied and claimed
they could fix my car engine and my car sat on their lot for 8 days and they did absolutely nothing!
Then one of their incredibly rude and fake mechanics who can hardly speak English, Kirk, refused to provide any updates - he kept lying about having called me but I had no record of his phone calls and he couldn’t even remember my name or my car! I had to tell him my name 5 times! When I asked him
to write down my name and give me a concrete timeline, he then changed his tone and suddenly hung up the phone saying my car is a mess and he can’t do the job. This is ridiculous and a waste of time. Clearly he was not capable of handling the job from
the start. He knew the nature of the job from
they start and should NOT have offered to
help if couldn’t. What is worse he said “I can’t take your call” and kept my car without a) updates or b) letting me arrange to pick it up. He’s a liar and a hot-head, with no competence or professionalism at all.
I had to call the central office and after relating two messages I received a text message not a phone call saying they
would tow my car to me! Even then I provided my address and they kept
me waiting around all day again

Kirk and his team did a fantastic job fixing my 2016 Honda Odyssey. Kirk is very honest and even fixed some scratches and damage that was not approved by the insurance adjuster. They even arranged a rental for me rather than telling me to go find my own rental while the car was being fixed. This is a top notch outfit and I would recommend Kirk's body shop - Simplicity Car Care Thornhill to anybody involved in a motor vehicle accident and needs their vehicle repaired. This guys make me wanna have a not at fault car accident more often!
Really quick turnaround. Got an estimate for 7 days and I was able to pickup my car in 4. Cleaned my car inside and out, on the office side they go above and beyond too, the front desk lady dropped a few of us clients in the rental store when the rental made excuses of being shortstaffed and not being able to pick us up.

Had some body work done here last month. Kirk did an amazing job, everything went smoothly. They had a rental waiting for me and made sure to communicate withe throughout the entire process. Kirk quoted me a very good price and even though he had to do more work than originally thought, the final price was even cheaper than the quote! Would definitely recommend!!

I was very happy with Kirk Lin who offered updates, specific details & estimated time it took for total repair. The people at front desk not so helpful. I would say to deal directly with Kirk as he is more reliable. Thank you for precision to repairing the rust and being cost-effective.

I had a great experience with the body shop that worked on my car. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and did an amazing job. They fixed everything that was wrong and made my car look like new. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they could improve their communication with the customer. The receptionist was not very helpful and gave me vague and inaccurate estimates of when my car would be ready. I had to call several times and ask to speak with the manager who could give me a more realistic ETA. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs quality work done on their car, but don’t rely on the receptionist for updates. Always call before 5 and talk to a mechanic directly.

Really appreciated experience. Very professional and friendly team especially Mr. Lin who helped me with my car. You can tell when someone is putting a lot of care and love into what they do. They also helped me fix a lot of small scratches and dents when working on my car without extra charges and even invited me for a very delicious work lunch during my waiting (Mr. Lin cooked himself, one of the best Taiwanese cuisine I’ve ever had). 100% recommend and will definitely come back again for any Body Shop problems.

The Lt Frt door and Fender damage caused by strong wind was pretty bad. However, they seem like a new door and fender after the repair. Not only did not take long, but also very easy to get the rental vehicle because the rental shop was in the next door. Very satisfied with the work and the staffs' amazing service. Strongly recommend this auto body shop to everyone.

Amazing service. Very clear communication about how insurance works with us. Clearly told us what to expect for the repair up front. Service was super quick! I dropped off the car in the morning and it was ready for pick up the next day. After picking up the car, I noticed that exterior and interior carpets were cleaned as well which isn't what I expected. Attached image is before and after image of the repair.

I went to Simplicity Car Care Thornhill back in June, after being in an accident. They were able to fix my car efficiently within a short period of time. Hence, I would highly recommend, as they had great customer service, and I was definitely satisfied with my repair!

Had my car in for insurance repair due to no fault accident (was rear ended). Kirk and staff very professional and the repair job was excellent.
Car returned repaired and they did an impeccable job including detailing the interior. Highly recommended.

people working here are all accommodating, and they let you understand the detail of your car. they are very patient in explaining it to their client. the staff are very perfectionist on their job and knowledgeable. more thanks to Miss Aileen and Sir Kirk for a job well done. i highly recommend this place. no regrets..
