My son's car was sideswiped from front to back. The team at Simplicity were extremely friendly and helpful and I will be going back to them in the future. The car rental place is also about a 2-minute drive which made things very easy on a Monday morning.

HiStrongly dissatisfied with the service.My vehicle had been in an accident and got repaired at this shop through my insurance company.Both the headlights got replaced by new ones in the repair and now one of the headlight stopped working properly.Furthermore, Firstly, I suspect they have used after market products instead of genuine honda parts. Secondly, When I reached to them about the issue then they told me that I have hit my vehicle from bumper and the issue has arisen because of that. These guys make big claims from insurance companies at the very first place and then they just make excuses in order to not give the claim to the client in-spite of have lifetime warranty on the repairs.Not recommended shop for the insurance claims. Attaching the picture to give some idea(It can be clearly seen from the picture that one of the headlights isn’t working properly and not having any kind of damage around it)

Good ole first snowfall of the season in Ottawa, my car got rear-ended while I was stopped at a red light. My insurance company recommended Simplicity Car Care on Merivale Road. From beginning to end, excellent customer service! Fine people. Nick appraised the damage, deemed car unsafe to drive, and instantly, Cole at the front desk called for my rental car company to come pick me up. I liked the email system they use, which keeps you informed virtually on the progress that's being made on your vehicle (ie, your car is now entering paint shop). Nick, Shop Manager, called me within a couple of days to give me the good news my car was in fact "repairable". Anytime I called there, phone was answered promptly by a Real Person! Never automated answering machine. When I picked up my car, the work they did astounded me. It was like new. Very clean shop, inviting. Highly recommend!

Extremely displeased with the outcome of my appointment today, scheduled for a tire swap on a set of rims. I was quoted 1-1.25 hours for this service, which is the standard time at various garages in the area, so I decided to wait around. Ended up receiving my car 2.5 hours later, at 1:30pm, from initial drop off time. I understand unexpected events arise at a garage however for a tire swap with acknowledgment that the customer is waiting around at agreed upon timeframe, 2.5 hours is quite the turnaround. Where this really went wrong is one of my rims has a few scuff marks - the driver side rear rim. I sent all 4 rims off to get cosmetic refurbishing complete, paid invoice for this service, therefore going into the appointment I know this blemish was not present. The manager told me that it’s not possible for his machine to damage the rim, and then started to back peddle stating that if it were to damage the rim it wouldn’t exactly look like that. Both blemishes are smooth to the touch, where we all know curb rash leaves jagged, rough scuffs. All to be said, first and last experience with this garage. Would not recommend.

Fantastic service. Brought my car here for repair following some exterior damage to the front door. The service was much quicker than anticipated and the car came back looking brand new. They even detailed the interior, leaving it feeling as good as it did when we drove it off the lot. The entire process was easy, from start to finish. Would highly recommend this company.

I brought my car to Simplicity Car Care after an accident that wasn’t my fault, and I can honestly say they went above and beyond my expectations. From the moment I dropped it off, the team reassured me that everything would be taken care of and that my car would come back even better than new, and they were absolutely right! They kept me informed every step of the way thought emails and even finished the repairs earlier than expected. When I picked it up, my car looked incredible perfectly repaired and beautifully polished. if there's any sort of repair you need, simplicity is the way to go. I've been battling with the dealership for countless hours on a mistake they refuse to admit to and fix PROPERLY. But brought my car in once to simplicity and got it all fixed with very effective communication. Thank you to Rick and to everyone there that have made my trips easy to tolerate with clear and concise communication.They did an amazing job on the repairs and will for sure be returning here for any future repairs(knock on wood).

Was in for some work after getting rear-ended. Everything was easy, well communicated and customer-focused. Work was done quickly and perfectly. I was super impressed that they went well beyond expectations in cleaning the interior, down to the Tuxmats that I hadn't yet cleaned from winter. That's the kind of service that is missing these days. Definitely recommended!

I recently had my Jeep Grand Cherokee serviced at Simplicity Care Car on Merivale and I couldn't be more impressed with the work they did. I am in a very happy place dealing with Rick B, the manager at Simplicity Car Care Ottawa Airport. Rick B is like an Ottawa CSI for cars (perfect idea for TV series shows), giving his incredible skilled eyes paying attention to details, not to mentioned very caring personality and top it off of course leadership quality, to mention a few. I had a wonderful experience with Rick and his team! I am very picky, as most people are, when choosing places to upkeep my car. When it came time to pick a place where insurance would cover, this place was in their list and I'm very happy I chose them. From the initial inspection and scheduling until picking my car up, everything was done seamlessly.Most importantly, Rick really seems to want a happy customer; guaranteeing his work. I'd like to give 5+ reviews for this store. Their staff are very professional and experienced and found my car's problem just in a couple of mins. The price is clear and reasonable. The manager is very friendly, and even though I dropped my car off at almost 5 pm, they still helped to repair it. My biggest complaint with them is the lack of communication. I had my car with them 3 times and I have been keep going to the store in person almost 10 times and called about the same amount just to get an update on my car, just because they have NEVER called me when they said they would. I was also overcharged for the rentals I’ve had because they did not notify the insurance company of the fact that they couldn’t finish the repair on time. I had to check my bank statements and call my insurance to go through so much hassle just to prove that they indeed kept my car longer.The paint job they done was decent, however they had a hard time reinstalling my bumper for whatever reason and the corners keep popping out. I went back 3 times to have them fix it but it is starting to pop out again. I just can’t be bothered to go back a fourth time and waste more time and energy to get it fixed again.It might be just me that had this experience, but all things considered I think 2 stars is unbiased and justified.

Simplicity car care really does care about customer satisfaction and goes above and beyond. After my SUV was damaged by hail I was sure it would never look new again. Was I wrong!! Seeing is believing! Rick Bleackley and staff are professional and really do put their customers first. After hearing that they were dealing with a lot of vehicles with hail damage, figured my vehicle couldn’t possibly be completed on time. My vehicle was finished a day early! Troy greets all customers with a smile and also aims to please!! Highly recommend these hard working individuals and will definitely purchase a detailing package as a Christmas gift!!!!

If you ever have to take your car anywhere for repairs or for anything (knock on wood) I highly recommend coming to Simplicity. I’ve been to a lot of auto shops over the years, and nothing compares to the treatment my car and I received here. I had the absolute best experience at Simplicity from their, kind and happy receptionist, Beverly, to the manager Rick and everyone in between. My car was an absolute mess when I brought it to them. And I couldn’t believe how amazing my car was when I picked it up. but a lot of it was superficial damage. A lot of the damage was superficial and easy to see. But when they did a test drive they discovered more damage, which they couldn’t have possibly seen before. They were quick to get in contact with me and give me all the updates. they ordered the parts right away and kept me updated throughout the entire process making a quick and easy for to get me back in my car. Here there on your side want what’s best for you and work hard to make you happy. Rick will do everything absolutely can everything in his power and more to help you and make sure you have the best experience Possible. Getting your car fixed is never a happy time. It is always awful and having to deal with rentals and everything is tiring and causes headaches. But at simplicity they do everything they can to help ease this process get you in your car as soon as possible, they keep you informed and updated throughout the entire process. Whenever you call them, Beverly is always happy to help and answers the phone so happy and chipper. She brightens your day. You can get a hold of the manager super easily and they walk you through everything that is happening. Once my car was fixed, they noticed a little bit of the paint wasn’t perfect and I needed my car right away but they were kind enough to let me pick a day that works best for me to come back so they could make sure it was top quality work . Cars are expensive you will need them and without them life is 100 times harder. It’s Simplicity they make repairs and they make sure it’s top quality for your peace of mind. When you go to Simplicity, you can be 100% confident that your car is receiving top quality care and that everyone is on your side working to get you back in your car as quick as possible. This was a first time I have needed to have my car repaired. My front right side bumper got torn off by a piece of a metal box on the highway that i did not see, but hit. When I called my insurance they sent my car to simplicity car care to be repaired. My car was on hold for a while because of a single part that was on back order. (No fault of theirs), But they were in touch with me every 10 days to let me know what was happening. I was able to get my car back in a month. They are really nice people that explained everything that they did to my car and what they repaired. My car looks like it never happened - looks like it is brand new! I’m impressed with what they did. I would give this 10/10 on this one. I did miss my car greatly, but they took great care of my car while being repaired.

Someone had backed into my car. They took about 45 minutes to remove the bumper and inspect what happened under the hood at no cost. They answered my questions clearly and with expertise. I learned so much! They were friendly, courteous and professional. I got a quote sent to me the next day with no added surprises and no pressure on what I should do. I was able to make my decision with confidence because of what Rick and Vanja showed me in the shop. Truly pros! I recommend!!!

Feeling sorry that we trusted our insurance and left our vehicle to be repaired by this shop. Stayed for months with them and came with mechanical issues that we never had. My strong advice is to avoid them. I do not see them qualified for mechanical work, they could be a body shop but still wouldn’t trust them.

The job is amazing!!!Got my tailgate repainted 3 times by the dealership and they were not able to do any good. Simplicity repainted it and no one can tell there was some repair done. Car was professionally detailed before being returned to us. Got even delivered by the owner himself. More than satisfied and highly recommend.

I was fooled by the reviews, asked my insurance company to send my file to them. They are disorganized, forgot about my car for one month and half. And postponed my repair by 5 months. Very bad customer service, arrogant and untruthful management. Do not trust them, take everything in writing.

My advice to you is that when choosing a repair shop under insurance policy, do NOT choose Simplicity Car Care, and choose someone else.My recent experience with the shop was very sad. My insurance company pointed Simplicity Car Care Ottawa for appraising my car involved in an accident. My experience with the shop has concluded that the shop simply work for their business partner. In my case, the Simplicity Car Care at Merivale RD only works for TD Insurance that gives businesses to them.

I’ve seen first hand how they do their job and you can tell they put a lot of time and effort into their work (great attention to detail). I wouldn’t doubt their capabilities. One they were extremely friendly, two they were honest, and lastly they did a great job with the window tinting (of course). If you want to feel valued this is definitely the company to go with. Honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience.
