Absolutely ridiculous service. Told me that the car will be fixed in a week and didn't got any update before 1.5 weeks. When came to pick the car after it was confirmed by them the car is ready, waited for more than 1 hour and apparently they were still fixing the bumper. Picked the car and it didnt have a drop of fuel in it. Was praying that I can make to the gas station 200 meters away from the shop. The bumper is still not perfectly fixed but don't want to come back.

I had the worst experience with this shop. My insurance sent my vehicle to Simplicity Car for repairs that were supposed to take 2 weeks — instead, they took 8 months with almost no communication.
Because of their delay, Simplicity Car promised to cover the cost of the rental vehicle from Enterprise. A year later, I was shocked to receive calls from Enterprise claiming that Simplicity never paid the invoice. Enterprise had given my personal information to a collection agency, and now they were contacting me to demand payment of a debt for which I bear no responsibility.
Simplicity Car has been ignoring this issue and not taking accountability for the agreement they made. This situation has caused me stress, wasted time, and potential credit damage.
This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

I’m really happy with the service at Simplicity Car Care! They’re professional, responsive, and very flexible. They fixed my car’s bumper perfectly and even corrected poor repair work done by my previous body shop. When my left signal stopped working, they let me walk in at the end of the day, fixed it in five minutes, and wouldn’t even take payment. Honest and reliable people — highly recommend!

Completely unreliable and rude.
They had my car for 6 month and did Nothing !
They lied to my insurance company.
The insurance company moved my vehicle to another shop and the work was completed within 2 weeks.

My brand-new Rav4 2024 was damaged in 2024 big Hail in the north of Calgary. After sending my car to the repair shop for repair, I did not have enough time to come to my appointment & contact them due to my busy working schedule. Therefore, I had my Mom (who barely speaks English) on my behalf to contact with the shop for repairing. The admin treat my Mom well, and answered all her concerns & questions patiently. On top of that, the repair service done by them is impressive, the dims on my car are all removed.(even it took a year which is understandable since every Calgarian in North suffers from the disaster).
So, I am very grateful to the shop, would definitely give 5 out 5 star

I recently brought in my 2018 Toyota Corolla to Simplicity Car Care Calgary SE, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The team was courteous, well-organized, and kept me informed every step of the way.

Completely unreliable and no customer service. It took 4 months to complete a job they quoted as requiring 26 days. No explanation offered for delays. They did not provide any updates on progress despite multiple requests. When car was presented as complete there were two items not fixed and not identified by the shop. Need negative stars to capture the lack of service and incompetence of this shop.

🚗⚠️ Heads-up on Simplicity Car Care (NW Calgary)
I’m not one to stir things, but after this experience, I feel obligated to speak up. In June 2024, after a vehicle incident, my insurance company referred me to Simplicity Car Care NW for body work. Insurance covered my rental — until it didn’t. When repairs dragged on, Simplicity verbally agreed to take over the rental cost. Fast forward to April 2025: I get slapped with a $910 rental bill from the rental company because Simplicity Car Care NW refused to pay them what they had promised. I spent so much time calling and showing up in person numerous times — only to be ignored, dismissed, and stonewalled. So I sent them a final email with a firm midnight deadline: either refund the money, or I go public with my story — starting with Calgary Global TV. Late afternoon, the day of the midnight deadline, I received an email back from them stating the they were actively working with the rental company to have “them” refund me. They thanked me for my patience with a promise to get back me when they sorted it out. I had heard this from them so many times so I emailed them back them back immediately reiterating that midnight was the deadline. And wouldn’t you know it? An hour later, they magically sent me an e-transfer for $910 — the exact amount they owed.
The moral of the story: 📌 Verbal promises mean nothing if they’re from Simplicity Car Care NW Calgary 🕰️ Timely responses only happen under pressure 🤔 If this happened to me, I’m betting I’m not the only one.

I’m extremely proud to say I feel like a member of the Simplicity Family , not only did they take care of my problem in amazing time and fashion they always responded to my calls and request or any inquiry I had throughout the process. I’m very grateful I chose these guys and I will definitely be coming back for any future auto body repairs. Malik was amazing at communicating and getting a deadline for me or telling me if there will be any delay and everything was finalized to the initial estimate I was provided which I was very satisfied with. I took my 2024 18,000 km Bronco sport in for front end damage and I was told that after 1 1/2 months , they were waiting on parts. I phoned Ford and the parts were readily available. I was assured that my vehicle would be ready on a Friday, I went to pick it up the following Wednesday because I was away on business. I waited for 10 mins at the front counter with nobody around, I proceeded to the back to find someone. My truck was in pieces with the windows down and the hatch wide open and full of car parts and body filler dust. All the plastic panels inside the back are all scratched as per pictures.The vehicle was flawless with 18,000 km. The lack of respect for my vehicle is beyond words. I wouldn’t take a $500 junker to this place. I don’t know if the rest of this franchise operates the same, and at this point I’m weighing legal options.

My vehicle was recovered from theft and the interior/exterior was in pretty bad shape. While this auto body shop did complete the repair, the timeline for the repair kept changing and no one would contact me about it. I understand it takes time for parts to come in, but going from a few weeks to three-four months seemed like a lot. I called in every other week to ask when my car might be ready so I could make arrangements to go get it or extend my rental vehicle. If someone had just kept me up to date or provided a realistic timeline from the get-go, I would have been way more understanding. Needless to say, the car was eventually repaired and is in good shape now, but the customer service experience needs improvement.

Came here the other day , I have an Audi r8 that had a rear end collision. Got it sent over to simplicity. They evaluated my damage and got it done within 3 weeks other body shops stated it would take months to get it done. I needed my r8 done quick for a promotional event. These guys know how to run a business and get cars done quickly and efficiently. Garry was the one I dealt with he knows his information and made the process very clear and simple. Thanks simplicity team and Garry.

My name is Arjun, and my claim number is R234553. My vehicle had significant hail damage, so I contacted my insurance, and they recommended this place. Initially, I was hesitant after reading some reviews, but I decided to give them a chance. I'm so glad I did! They did an amazing job from start to finish – contacting me, booking me in, and repairing my vehicle. They even handled booking my rental car, making the whole process incredibly easy. Garry, Amrit, and Harvey, along with the entire team, were fantastic to deal with. They’re willing to stay late to finish a car if I’m in a time crunch, unlike other big shops that close by 4:30 pm. These guys will stay until 7-8 pm with no problem because they truly care about their customers!

Thanks to Malik and the team for fixing a rear panel collision. The work was done great and the colour and bumper all matched the rest of my 2021 acura RDX. The price quoted is exact what they charged but took a few more days than the original estimate.

Did not have a good time here. I took my car here for a very minor scratch and the whole process between getting it assessed to finally getting it fixed took over 3 months. Edit: on my invoice, it notes that my car odometer read 42229km, when I got it back today the odometer reads 43671km. I believe they've used my car without my permission, how else would it rack up 1400km while at the shop?
The initial assessment was quick, it took less than 5 minutes to get the damage assessed, but then they didn't send the quote over to my adjuster until we chased them about it.
They finally scheduled me in for repairs and when I dropped my car off on a Tuesday, they said it would take about 3 days. 3 days went without a call, so I decided to give them a week before I checked in with them.
The week goes by, I give them a call, they said they were just painting it now and would have the bumper back on tomorrow. The next day, I called them again and they told me they scratched the bumper and would need to repaint it, and it would take another 2 days. I called on Friday afternoon, and they told me that the car would be ready at 12 on Saturday. Then on Saturday they told me it wouldn't be ready till 1 because their technician wasn't in yet.
Just an absolutely ridiculous experience for a small scratch on the bumper.

Very unprofessional team! The worst auto repair team in Calgary! Three weeks ago, my car was towed to their shop by the insurance company for them to assess the damage. Two weeks later, the insurance company still had no news. When I went to the shop to check it myself, I found my car parked behind the shop, but the windows were open. The worst thing was that it rained all day that day! ! ! ! I found that my car was full of water!
I have updated this information to the insurance company, but another week has passed and neither I nor the insurance company have received any response from them!

Worst experience. Delaying my car repair since 2 months. Every time there’s a new excuse. They say we will call you but they never call back and don’t have the courtesy to inform about the delay. And the delay is not in hours..it is in weeks. And then they say, they are not able to find why the car is behaving a certain way. They do not know how to do their job and they are cheating us.
I’m tired of following up with them to ask about my repairs . I am so stressed with thinking what they are doing to my car. I suspect that they might even be using my car for other purposes.
I would really suggest my insurance to take them off their list of recommended workshops.

This place is not worth your time or energy. They have been delaying my car repair for 5 months now. Every time there’s a new excuse. I took my car in for a quote/assessment in January. They let me know they would call me when they could get me in. Come April I still had not heard from them. I called to ask when they could get me in and they said oh yeah we can in May. It took me calling to get booked. Then once I got in they told me it would take a week. At the end of the week I once again hadn’t heard from them so I called to see if it was ready for pick up. They let me know something had been missed on the assessment and they had to order another part and that it would be another week. Again the end of the week rolled around and I had not gotten an update, I called again and they let me know they still had not received the part. I understand not receiving the part is not on them, however there was once again no communication to me. When I finally went to pick up my car I went to drive away and I noticed a crack in my windshield that was not there upon drop off. I went back in to tell them. The man I told came out to inspect and was very condescending explaining how crack happen from chips (I of course know this). There had not been a chip in the spot prior to drop off. I asked if he could review pictures that were taken of the vehicle as I know it is standard practice for pictures to be taken prior to the fix. He said they were not taken of the front of the car as they were only working on the back of the vehicle. He said the car was barely driven as it only went from the front of the shop to the back, however they leave the vehicles parked outside, I let him know it could have come from that. He was very rude and said it was not possible and I left extremely frustrated and shocked. I took my car to get fixed and it somehow came back with new damage. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I asked the person working to show me before photos because I wanted to prove that the chip was not there upon drop off and I was told by who was working that they did NOT take photos so there was nothing to look at. My 2008 G37 was sideswiped while it was parked. This bodyshop was approved by my insurance so I thought it was safe to bring my car here. It took them over 2 months to finish my repairs which was twice the estimate they gave me. When I called them to ask about the status of my vehicle they would just say they needed a part for the door which took over 2 weeks to arrive supposedly. When I got my car back I found numerous issues with it. The interior trim pieces were not reinstalled correctly and were loose, my door handle was loose and would've fallen off had I driven away, my drivers side window was loose and the drivers side rear window was installed incorrectly. There are also a lot of imperfections in the paint and clear coat which is extremely disappointing for a professional bodyshop. My car came with PPF on the quarter panel to protect against rock chips and this was removed and not replaced. They also managed to rip the door seal and thought it was appropriate to just glue it back together instead of replacing it. You can also clearly see where the bondo was applied. The window repair they stated would only take a few hours. When I brought the car back for the window issues it took them another 2 weeks because whoever the incompetent person who screwed up the window in the first place managed to scratch my car bad enough that they had to repaint it again. The worst part is that when I got my car back the window was still installed incorrectly How hard is it to look at the untouched window on the other side too see where this window is supposed to be positioned. I don't even want to take my car back for them to fix these mistakes because I know these idiots will mess it up again. If you care about your car and want a quality headache free repair go to another shop.

Watch out for this place. Poor customer service. Talked to customer service on a Friday who said my car would be available for pick up on the following Monday as "paint needed to dry over weekend". I said I would be away for almost 2 weeks and would pick up the car on the next Friday - 12 days later - and they said no problem. I showed up to pick up car as discussed on the Friday and after waiting a few minutes while service agent went to the shop he returned and to my surprise told me my car was not ready. Said they were still waiting for a part for a repair that was supposed to be ready for pick up 12 days earlier. No courtesy phone call or message to me telling me about the delay. Part miraculously arrived within a few hours and ready for pick up same day. After returning home at my own cost by Uber (they didn't' offer to pay) received a call about 2 hours later that I could pick up my car. Then received a second call prior to pick-up saying somehow their credit card machine wasn't working and if I could pay by debit card (somehow that machine worked OK). Say what? I'm sure they just trying to save the service charge but then just tell me that upfront. Needless to say I don't recommend this place due to poor customer service. Hoping the repair not as bad as the service.

This location is by far the best Auto Body shop I have visited. It is evident thatIsabel loves her job, she is very conscientious and passionate, the level of customer service is awesome. My car looks better than new, I was shocked when I went to pick it up and it being detailed, never expected that. I will defiantly be recommending Simplicity Car Care Calgary North West to all my friends and family. 100% Superior service.

My car is currently at the shop getting repaired. Isabel from this location has been wonderful to deal with. She is very professional and has been sending updates about the process of the repair. Booking appointment and everything went without any problems.
I haven't seen the repair yet but if the repair is as good as the customer service then they definitely deserve a 5 star review.

Harvey has done such an amazing job with the set up at his new North West location. Amazing top notch service just like his South East and North East stores. I would never recommend going anywhere else, these guys pride customer service as their number one priority. The workmanship is unbelievably outstanding. Will be bringing my Son's car in before Christmas to have some work done as a Christmas present for him. THANK YOU! so much.
