I’m disappointed to write this, as I’m not someone who has ever left a poor review for a business. I’ve previously had work done at DeWolfe (around 3 years ago) and had no problems, the work was done well and in a timely manner. However, my vehicle was sideswiped at the beginning of May this year and required around $5500 worth of repairs. I contacted DeWolfe and decided to go with them based on previous experiences and because they could get me in at the beginning of August, while other shops were booking into the Fall. I completely understand that many shops are overwhelmingly busy and backed up due to factors beyond their control. However, I felt that the way in which my appointment was handled was unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. My appointment was scheduled for August 7th and I had waited several months for this date. Only 3 days before my appointment, I was contacted via email and told that my appointment was cancelled, with no explanation. Upon calling, I was informed that they were behind schedule and needed to cancel my appointment. When I asked to reschedule for a future date, I was flat out told that they would not rebook me.Again, I understand being behind schedule, but it’s incredibly unprofessional to cancel an appointment with such late notice and not offer any alternatives, particularly when they already had received the cheque for repairs from my insurance company. I now need to start from square one and search for a new body shop, which is frustrating and unfortunate. While they’ve done good work in the past, I wouldn’t trust them to follow through on an appointment. When you’ve been in business for this long, you should be able to manage your time and know well in advance if you are unable to complete a customer’s repairs in a timely manner. It was a disappointing experience.

Donna treated us like family, helping me navigate fixing my daughter's car through phone calls from Ontario. Honest people. Great work.
