Was directed here for auto body repair with my insurance. The repair and auto body work was great but had issues with the mechanics of my window. They said they would order the parts for me and I waited and followed up a couple weeks after. It seems as if there was a breakdown in communication or they lost my file as I followed up every couple of months to get my window fixed and it took about a year to get this issue solved.

Not sure how this place has such a good rating. My vehicle was involved in an accident where another vehicle rear ended me twice. The second time they pushed me into the back driver's side corner of the truck in front of me, down the passenger side of the SUV to my left and then back into the front driver’s side corner of the same truck. This was during -20° to -25° C weather, so things are more brittle. It was icy, so I couldn’t stop the other vehicle from pushing me. All I could do was try to avoid doing extensive damage to the other vehicles. I explained all of the facts about the collision in great detail and told the estimator that my AC was making a strange, gurgling sound, and was no longer blowing cold air. I even told him that there was AC oil on my garage floor shortly after the accident. I also told him that my vehicle was at my mechanic shortly before the accident, so I could prove that it didn’t make that noise. The estimator told me that his wife had the same vehicle as me and she had AC problems. This is a completely different situation. The issues his wife had were irrelevant and had nothing to do with my vehicle’s damage. Just because I am female, doesn’t mean that I don’t know how AC systems work or where they are located. He never turned the vehicle on to feel the temperature of air coming out, or to hear the loud noise the AC was generating.Next the estimator put several USED parts on his estimate, NOT Aftermarket (A/M) parts! When I told him I wasn’t comfortable with used parts, he told me that I didn’t have a choice because the insurance company required it. I had already had other estimates done prior and a couple after and not one other auto body shop listed used parts. My god-father owned an auto wrecker shop, so I am not oblivious. IMO if someone lies to push used parts, they are likely benefitting in some way.I couldn’t believe that this estimator was willing to lie to me and completely ignore the issue with the AC. He cared more about the 3M protective film and plastic lettering then making sure all of the damage was fixed. It doesn’t matter how good your vehicle looks, if it isn’t working properly. Needless to say, I did not have my damage fixed by Simplicity/Empire Collision.FYI: I decided that I wanted my mechanic to do the mechanical repairs. Which you absolutely have the right to do. Your insurance company doesn’t get to dictate where the work gets done. I found an auto body shop who agreed to subcontract my mechanic. My mechanic found a gash in the condenser. I asked if it could be from anything other than the accident; such as a rock. They said no because I would have a large hole in my grill.I also asked my insurance adjuster and he said that used parts were not a requirement in my situation. That applies more to older vehicles where parts are no longer manufactured or available.I would not recommend this company, and would advise people to stay away from them. Dishonesty, and ignoring a customer’s statements and concerns is completely unprofessional and should not be tolerated. After my appointment, I found a video that explains and shows just how easy it is for the condenser to be damage in a very minor front end collision. I’m sure the estimator can remember a customer who was rear ended twice and pushed, and had the same make and model as his wife. I also have my estimate, and I’m willing to show any potential customers who wants 100% clarification or proof of my statements.

I was directed here by my insurance company. They did a good job of the repair, sent email updates and called when the quote needed updating due to new findings. The best part of my experience was with Julie. I was inquisitive about the scope of work done and she patiently showed me pictures of the damage and repairs process. She listened to, acknowledged, and addressed some concerns I had promptly with calm and understanding. She is an asset there.I will encourage the company to have a minimum standard for cleanliness of cars after work completion. Especially when the car has been at the shop for weeks, basic car wash for interior and exterior should be standard.Overall, work quality and customer service was great.

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident (not my fault) and my Insurance Company provided me a list of four collision repair companies I could take my vehicle to. My decision was to take my vehicle, which only had 5k kilometers on it, to Simplicity Car Care Center / Empire Collision.From the time I entered this facility, I immediately knew I chose the correct company. The Estimator was very friendly and sat down with me and explained everything that would be required. In addition to their detailed information, they also arranged for a rental vehicle for me.When my vehicle was returned to me, it was just as it was when I received it new from the Dealership. Simplicity Car Care is a very professional facility with professional staff. I would highly recommend giving them your business as you will not be disappointed.

Don’t go here folks it isn’t worth the hassle and insulting behaviour. So far I have been back three times for three different issues, all of them caused by their shoddy workmanship; including pieces falling off and handing me back my car when it looked ridiculous. They even gave it back to me once with black resin smeared all over the inside window. Their head office is no help, bring your escalations to your insurance company and other governing bodies like AMVIC!

Had a fender bender and the insurance company sent me here. Expectations were blown away.The staff were super on top of everything, genuine people, and a pleasure to deal with.They were diligent in communicating and scheduling, and even went above and beyond ensuring my rental was booked, paperwork was in order, and they had my relevant contact info.The process was enhanced by how well informed they kept me, step by step thru the repairs.Although I hope I never need them again, if I do— I know where to go. Honestly the best service I’ve received anywhere for a long time. Super impressed, and that is hard to do.11/10 I would recommend these folks, every time.

I've had previous work done at this shop and recently took my RAV4 in for a minor repair. They did the repair and the cost was under the original estimate! Before leaving they did a scan and I was given a report which will be valuable information to have in the future. The staff were friendly and professional like always! I would recommend this Empire Collision- West shop to anyone who wants great service and work done on their vehicle.

I wish I could give a zero star.Run the other way. They will abuse your vehicle while it’s in their care. They are extremely unprofessional. Our vehicle came back more damaged than when it went in for service which has now left us with a $1600 bill.

I was told that it would take 5 days to repair my car, they did much longer without warning me about it. did not respond to email. when I finally picked up the car, I found that the plastic on the door was broken. when removing the rear window, the plastic was very scratched. the place where there was a scratch on the car was done well, but there was rust on the door, they just painted it over without cleaning it

My wife asked to borrow my car as her’s would be in the shop for just under a week. Simplicity told us on several occasions that it would be ready the next day, or that it was in line up for paint. It was quite obvious they were full of it because they must’ve painted it a dozen times by now if what they told me over the phone was accurate. Its coming up on damn near a month now and they are saying another day or two, because once again, it’s in the line up for paint;) I will never be bringing another car to “Simplicity” because not once has this process been anything other than troublesome.

Garbage management and company. Must have a potatoe doing repairs because they dont know how to do simple body work. Change name to garbagecarrepair.Would never take a car here. How do you have any 5 star reviews probably paid for. High turnover rate for management and staff always differentDEFINITELY dont come here even if its for insurance

I needed auto body repairs done and my insurer recommended this shop. I'm so glad they did as I was treated well and my car was repaired quickly. I was informed of every step in the process and the shop even arranged for my rental vehicle to be ready when I dropped mine off. The staff were lovely to deal with and the car looks like new!I just used them again for damage to an exterior mirror and Rory, the manager, along with the other staff were just as good to me as before. This shop has longevity in its excellent service to customers.

I brought my vehicle from out of province to get repaired after a rear-end collision I’ve been in. The staff is friendly and professional, they settled everything with ICBC without me worrying about it. The vehicle was fixed within a week, the car looked like brand new, the vehicle was detailed in and out. Special thanks to Julie, Mike and the receptionist who helped me out from the start until the end of the process.

This is the second time I have used Simplicity’s services and again, I am extremely happy with their work and staff! The staff are very welcoming and helpful, a real pleasure to deal with. Their work is exceptional! You cannot tell any damage was ever done and it looks brand new (they wash your car prior to handing it back to you). They go the extra mile for you. Both times, they did 100%!! I am a very happy customer and should I ever require their services again, I will absolutely go back! Their prices are excellent too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 STARS!!

I was rear-ended and ended up bringing my car here for repairs due to good reviews by other clients. Damage to my car was pretty minor and only needed rear bumper and rear right light assembly replacement.Dale P. did a great job keeping me updated on the progress from ordering and waiting for parts to when the car was being repaired and finished.I was satisfied with the end result and my car is good as new. Recommended.

We were directed to this service through our insurance company. They did great work. The only issue we had was when they replaced the drivers door, they used a used door and the inside of the door was wrecked. Apparently they were supposed to put the inside of the original door back in. When this was brought to their attention they fixed it immediately and quickly. I would absolutely use them again. They were very professional and great to deal with.

After my minor car accident (I was not at fault), I took photos and submitted them within a day to the insurance app as requested. Empire took weeks to get back to me about when to make an appontment to have my car repaired. An update/touch base about the expected time frame would have been nice to get within a few days of the accident. I needed the back left tail light replaced and well as 2 spots to be painted on the side and back corner of my van. The tail light and large paint scratch were done well, but the small paint scratch was not painted even though I had submitted a photo of it. So perhaps I should have gone over the expected work with them when I brought in my van (I thought the photos would have been enough). They were accommodating & had the work done before expected (I was told 3 days for these repairs, but they were done in 2). When I went to pick up my van, the admin clerk tried to tell me that I owed a $250 deductible. I was not at fault, so this should have been checked and this charge should have been withdrawn beforehand. After checking it in their system, they rectified it & I didn't have to pay in the end, but I shouldn't have been asked to pay.

Great place to go for body work, and customer service!Sharon who is a wonderful technician did a great job with my vehicle. Dale was very helpful and kept me informed on every step. Megan and Julie were both very pleasant and a joy to talk with. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience and are happy with the final product… which I gladly was. Thank you to all the staff for making this experience quick and easy.

Backed into a yellow concrete pillar in a parkade with my truck last night. Not even 12 hours later I phoned Empire Collision and came personally to their west end shop just to get a quote. No appointment needed, quote was timely and free of charge. Dale provided excellent customer service and the paint scratch was out of my truck within the day. Am truly grateful for the professionalism, affordability and timely services provided by the team. Can definitely see myself returning for service If I so need it. Thanks guys!

Sitting in the waiting area with complete delight about the service received here at Empire Collision. I was so pleased I had to write this review before leaving. After our kids decided to use our car as their canvas, and a rock as their brush, Empire was able to completely erase the scratches quickly at reasonable cost.
